Vikings Blade Safety Razor vs Parker 92R

The double edge razor technology has shown its usefulness to every man time and time again. There are several brands in the market today but as with most devices, they tend to have their inherent pitfalls. Today's review would be taking a closer look at two products that has had their fair share of success. Using several criteria, here's a comparison between the Vikings Blade and the Parker 92R.

Design

The Vikings Blade is made from premium, superior Swedish materials known for their strength and heavy duty characteristics. It has a weight of 85g which makes it quite hefty and comes with a height of 3.75". This makes it neither too short nor long but just ideal for a firm grip.

The Parker 92R is made from solid brass and comes with a frame that makes it resistant to rust. Just like the Vikings Blade, it is a heavyweight razor but has a higher weight of about 95g.

Special feature

The Vikings Blade comes with a more advanced butterfly head that allows for easy change of blades. With its advanced butterfly head, it can effect blade change in as quickly as 5 seconds. Also imbedded in its advanced butterfly head is a micro-comb designed to minimize cuts during shaves.

The Parker 92R has a butterfly head for easy blade change but not like that of the Vikings Blade. Although a bit different, it is still able to allow for an uninterrupted shaving experience.

Accessories

The Vikings Blade comes with 5 unbranded blades coated with platinum. The Parker 92R comes with 5 sharp blades made from chrome material.

  1. One of the best advantage of a safety razor is it is a one time investment. Because other shaving tools have to through out after reduce the sharpness of the blades. But if you use a safety razor you don't need to through it out. Because you can change the blades easily. Best safety razor reviews
