Usually when I want to purchase a product online, I spend hours going
through the reviews - the Vikings Blade was no exception. I do this because I
know there are many paid reviews out there these days but a closer look will
always reveal the perceived quality of the product by real users. I decided I
was going to wait till about 1 year before I do a review of my Vikings Blade.
It's almost 10 months now and I feel this blade is deserving of an early review.
The first thing I love about the Vikings blade is how less aggressive
the blades are when in use. I had an Edwin Jagger that although gave lovely
cuts, I had to battle to be careful not to injure myself because of how
aggressive the blades were. After all these months, the razor is still as
effective as it was from the beginning.
The only issue I had was with the additional 5 blades attached to it.
They just didn't meet up to the standard I wanted. So I purchased extra blade
(which were cheap) and I haven't had any issue with it. The Vikings Blade is
heavyweight which gives it a great amount of strength to allow for handling and
close shaving. While I wait to see if it beats my 1 year mark, I have to say
that so far so good, I like the product.
