Safety Razor vs Cartridge Razor: What the Total Cost Implication?

Oftentimes we hear people trying to compare the safety razor to that of the cartridge. If you pay attention to most of the arguments, you would see reasons with each side of the argument. While everyone is entitled to hold their opinion on any subject matter, when it comes to saving money on shaving, there is no basis for comparison. The annual cost implication of using a cartridge razor for a year is about $240. This is just plainly outrageous!

Let’s get a little bit practical with this. Go to amazon and search for double edge safety razors like the Vikings Blade and take note of the average price on such products. Do same with the cartridge razor and compare the price. The next thing to do is to consider the cost of purchasing extra blades. While Vikings Blade comes with 5 extra blades, not all safety edge razors come with such benefits. Search for the price of a safety edge razor blade refill and do same with the cartridge razor. The difference in cost price is the reason the safety razor has become a household choice among men today. So yes, it is very much possible to get a god shave and still save money!
